"Do all the good you can, by all the means you can,
In all the ways you can, In all the places you can,
At all the times you can, To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can."

~ John Wesley

  • Getting to know Veronica:
  • Veronica began her nursing career 24 years ago in hospital nursing. Her first nursing assignment was  orthopedics, which she loved. After moving to the Valley and while assigned to the general Medical Surgical floor she was quickly offered a position as inpatient /outpatient diabetic educator as well as running the diabetes support group for a local McAllen hospital. Veronica has had many roles since then including school nurse, outpatient clinic manager, home health nurse manager, and youth corrections case manager. Her first degree is in Biology and she pursues her interest and passion in that field by devouring nonfiction books and keeping 6 aquariums of varying difficulties. Only a little bit of reason (and a sane husband) keeps her from indulging her love in more exotic pursuits. She is married and has two sons, and is still hoping for a pony for her next birthday.
