Shopping online for the holidays? How about doing a painless donation to the Church at the same time? Just visit the UMC Market at https://umcmarket.org/shopping and download the browser button. Since there over 1,000 sites/stores partnered with UMC Market, chances are good that you will be using a few of them. Just click on the button in your toolbar (a little shopping cart) and activate the donation for that site. It’s really that simple!

Autoharp Practice Claire Richardson is again offering her expertise on the autoharp and will be giving instruction at 1:30 PM on Sundays in the Music Room. If you are interested, speak with her about the details.

Keys, Keys, Who Has the Keys?Come on, folks! Is it so hard to let us know you have keys to the church? Just drop us an email, a note, or call the office. We have to know who has access to the church and the various areas. That’s the first thing asked if there is an insurance claim and we need to be able to answer it.

Members’ information sheets  To all of our returning friends and family – we have installed new membership software and are working on updating all of our records. If you would please pick up a Member Information Sheet from the Welcome Desk and fill it out, we can be sure that the information we have on you is accurate. We have received a few of our quarterly statements back from the Post Office, and some of our generous members have neglected to provide addresses at all. So this information is vital for you as well as for us. Thank you!

Quarterly Giving Statements have been sent out  and we have received some back with bad addresses! This is another reason we need your updated membership information. If you have not received your statement, please call the office.

AARP Driver Safety Class Formerly known as “55 Alive”, will be held at Mission FUMC on Tuesday, November 14 from 8:00 AM to Noon. This is the four hour course, which is all that we are allowed to teach here in Texas. For those insurance companies that honor the defensive driving discount, and accept the four hour course, this satisfies their requirements. If you are interested in taking the course, registration can be completed through the church office or by using the signup sheet at the Welcome Center. Please bring to class your driver’s license, AARP card, if a member, and a check made out to AARP for $15 if you are an AARP member, and $20 if you are not.
